Winners and Losers

Winners

Brady Hoke: The first year coach in Ann Arbor got his first big win on Saturday over Notre Dame in very exciting fashion during the Big House's first night game. It doesn't hurt when you have a superstar like Denard "shoelace" Robinson in the backfield to carry the team.

Auburn: The Tigers hushed many of their doubters after beating #16 Mississippi St this weekend. Auburn struggled mightily last weekend against Utah St but Michael Dyer came alive and so did the rest of the Tigers.

Oklahoma: The Sooners were ranked atop the AP Poll for a record 100th time this weekend.

Michigan St Defense: The Spartans D gave up just one first down in their blowout 44-0 win over Florida Atlantic.

Big 12: It looks good for the conference's future and present. Word from Pac-12 conference head makes it seem that they have no interest in expanding while the conference is now 14-1 through the first two weeks.

Losers

The Golden Dome: The Irish suffered another loss and start out with a 0-2 record for the first time since the dreaded '07 season. Turnovers killed them once again and Brian Kelly face was as red as a cherry in their loss while their BCS hopes have been practically thrown out the window.

Spirit the Eagle: The "War Eagle" that flies around before every home Auburn game flew into a luxury box window but rebounded and landed down at midfield like always.

Refs in LA: Several hours after USC's first Pac-12 win over Utah the score was changed to 23-14 because a blocked field goal as time expired. The zebras called it no touchdown but it was officially changed later.

BC offense: The Golden Eagles offense was practically non existent in their embarrassing 3-30 loss to UCF. They gained a measly 141 total yards throughout the game and only 7 total first downs in the loss.
